Introduction to Harry Parker

An unsofisticated lad from Hull who mysteriously embarks on an adventure of a life time. His girlfriend has left him, and a Gypsy fortune teller tells him to follow his stars.

This sets him on a course through the underworld of Amsterdam where he meets various criminal types. 

He gets tied up with several, nay, a lot of ladies of dubious repute, secret agents and  the CIA etc. He travels the length of the Rhine where his adventures become extraordinary - he morphs into a regular James Bond. It ends in gun fight where a Russian agent escapes in a power boat.
