God's Creation

Chapter Six

A thought probe swept through the cosmos - 'aha,' it whispered without sound, and closed down but lingered a moment too long which was picked up by the Time Lords. They woke the local cosmic force with a swift jolt. Several star clustered actually moved that would set in force the beginning of the end.

The cosmic force was at a loss. It's antennas did not detect anything. They were tuned to the outer reaches off space and were not programmed for infinitesimal creatures on a planet that could hardly be seen against the glare of it's mighty star. The star cluster itself was of no concern, greater events were going on in the vastness of space.

The Time Lords did not control space directly or contents. They controlled the tenors that made space what it was, a vast nothing that only existed because there were bodies in it. This was their conundrum; no bodies no space.

Nothingness can only prescribed by what surrounds or what it contains. They had their work cut out making sure there was nothing. To their horror there was a new nothing forming, whole clusters of bodies were collapsing in on themselves in which the 'nothing' was being drawn. A new cosmos, or simply the reforming.

This was a force that the Time Lords could not contain. It was causing them grievous thought pain. The local cosmic force would have to look after itself for the time being.

Evil breeds evil through the holiness of good men.

The monks of the Benedictine Abbey bent in prayer. They prayed for ever forgiveness from the Lord for the ills of the world. They rose from their bunks at four of-the-clock to pray, again at six-of-the-clock. They broke their fast with coarse bread and thin gruel. They worked the land a round the Abbey. They produced fine fruit, from which a heady brew could be fermented. This they sold and entered into the commercial world of greed. And yet they saw no fault.

Their wealth increased, they took to idols of silver and gold. They influenced the Kings, they bore against the ‘heathen’ with great might. They saw conversion of the sinful through torture as acting out the will of god. They became slothful. They worshipped Jezebel. They fornicated with themselves. They flayed themselves as an act of forgiveness. They preached the word of the Lord and yet the devil had entered their hearts.

And now they sought forgiveness. He of the horny head and cloven hooves forgave them. And they were content with themselves. And so they covered their fault.

They grotesquely twisted the word of the Lord,

’Bring your children unto me, for they are the saviours of the world.’

They abused themselves in word and body. Even the Devil turned away. And yet they were the repositories of learning and music that was passed down the centuries of mans habitation of the planet.

Following the splitting of the nations the people populated the earth everywhere. They discovered the planet, they called it earth. It was full of beauty and yet they fornicated their souls away to false pleasures and forgot their inheritance.

A stranger came among the people he was called the Messiah, the son of God. He was born by the visitation of Gods angels on a virgin mother.

The cosmic force, having received a warning from the Time Lords, woke up to his duty. The thought probe had suggested that he could create if he only put his mind to it, and so he tried. Instead of creating a human from scratch he took the easy course and fertalised the egg of a women. And so the second mistake in the universe was made. It was to have some terrifying consequences.

The man of God came with a great guilt burden, his birth had triggered the slaughter of all the boys born at the same time as him. Three soothsayers had seen a star that forecast the birth of a new king. They foolishly went to the existing King and warned him of this, so to be safe from some usurper he ordered the killing of all the boys born that year. The boy who was to become the new king escaped this disaster.

That boy, now man, was baptised by John the Baptist and behold the heavens opened up and the spirit of God descended on him a,d a voice from the heavens said,

’This is My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.'

Righteousness was bestowed upon him, and he was tested by the devil to see if he was weak and relish his power to work miracles.

And Jesus, as he was called, began to preach;

’Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.’

No truer words were spoken!

And so the preacher went about his business.

His word was simple;

‘Believe in God and love they neighbour, whoever they may be.’

And he added for good measure;

’Love they enemy!’

Ah, if only.

This new preaching did not please the elders of the old religion and they conspired to destroy him. Cowards that they were they invoked the law for their military rulers to execute him! To credit of the ruler of that country he could see no guilt but was persuaded to allow the execution.

The man of God, the preacher of love and harmony was nailed to a cross where he died in agony. It is said he died and came back from the dead and ascended into heaven to sit on the right hand of God, and so the idea of God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, was born.

This was to have grave consequences down the following centuries.

The cosmic force moved uneasily, his interference had not worked as he intended, it had made matters worse, and he certainly was not going to have another force along side him.
